Dog Bite Prevention

Do you know how to keep yourself safe around dogs?

Do you work around unfamiliar dogs? Animal Evac New Zealand is the country’s only dedicated animal disaster management charity, with over 200 trained animal disaster response volunteers nation wide.  This 2 hour course is presented by experienced professionals who have worked around dangerous dogs and aims to provide an insight on how to prevent being attacked by dogs through an understanding of their body language and through preventative workplace safety planning.

Steve Glassey, former CEO of Wellington SPCA, founder of SPCA National Rescue Unit, ITRA Companion Animal Rescue Instructor (Level 3), and former SPCA Inspector and Animal Control Officer.

Marion Anderson, Registered Veterinary Nurse and former military combat rescue specialist.

Darren Gray, Senior Animal Control Officer with local government.
